James Ong has left State Street for a new role at Value Partners. James has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for Value Partners’ Singapore business as well as Head of Southeast Asia. He was most recently Head of Southeast Asia at State Street Global Advisors and previously worked at HSBC Asset Management and UOB Asset Management. Value Partners, one of Asia’s largest independent asset management firms, was established in 1993.
