Mirage Mountain Technologies shuts down the Attractor Fund

Mirage Mountain Technologies in Tokyo has announced that it has shut down the firm’s Attractor Fund at the end of April following trading losses. The Attractor fund was an artificial intelligence-driven hedge fund. CEO and CIO Yoshinori Nomura will continue to run Mirage Mountain Technologies including researching and developing new investment strategies. Prior to launching Mirage Mountain in 2020, Nomura was a portfolio manager at Simplex Asset Management.
