Two partners leave Snow Lake Capital

Two partners and portfolio managers at Snow Lake Capital in Hong Kong have resigned. As a result of the departures of Yusuke Saito (pictured) and Paul Kim, Snow Lake is reportedly shutting down one of its main funds and will stop investing in Japan and South Korea to focus more on China. Both PMs have had careers with blue-chip firms; Yusuke at Dymon, Moore, Och-Ziff, Citadel, Ripplewood and Lehman Brothers and Paul at Moore, Soros and Asian Century Quest. Snow Lake was founded in 2009 and backed by Zhang Lei, the founder of Hillhouse Capital.
