Lively discussion at Nasdaq luncheon
On 29th April 2025, Nasdaq co-hosted a lively and productive Hedge Funds Club Dialogue luncheon at the Tower Club in Singapore.
The Dialogue peer discussions are quite different from our big networking evenings. The Dialogue events are small and focused on discussions. They are not presentations, but proper peer discussions.
The discussion in Singapore was moderated by the Hedge Funds Club’s Stefan Nilsson and led by Nasdaq’s In Cher Boh and James McKeone.
It became a lively peer discussion among the CIOs, PMs and leaders around the table. There were quant funds, multi-strategy funds, fund platforms, family offices and others represented. There were plenty of views, questions and ideas shared over lunch.

The wide-ranging conversation covered intraday quant trading strategies and opportunities, international trading strategies, nuances of market structures, the impact of market data and analysis on investment decisions, the implications of 24-hour trading and much more.
Nasdaq also put a virtual reality spin on things by offering a virtual tour of the Nasdaq trading floor and a chance to ring the famous bell.
Proper discussions over lunch are so much more productive than product pitches. Ditch the pitch and have conversations. This is how relationships are built and the needs and wants of the market are discovered. Hedge Funds Club Dialogue sessions are all about sharing expertise and views instead of pitching and preaching.
Thank you to all the participants and Nasdaq, who made this a terrific luncheon. We look forward to hosting more Dialogue events.
