Ken Terauchi has joined Russell Investments as a senior client portfolio manager in Tokyo. He has spent the past decade with BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he was primarily focused on working with FoF managers Fauchier Partners and Permal. Earlier in his career he was with Mizuho/IBJ, Cargill and Tullett.

Jun Arima
Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) has hired Jun Arima as a director of external asset managers for global public markets. Arima has relocated back to Tokyo for his new role. Most recently he spent three years in Korea where he was a senior managing director at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. Earlier in his career he has worked for Nomura Asset Management and predecessor firms to Mizuho in Tokyo, New York and London.
Hedge fund manager Hutchin Hill Capital will close both its Hong Kong office and its pan-Asian event driven strategy. Hutchin’s Hong Kong office only opened last year.

Gary Pratt
Benjamin Fuchs’ BFAM Partners in Hong Kong has hired Gary Pratt as an FX derivatives analyst. Most recently, Pratt worked at the Irish Funds Industry Association.

Fay Chang
Following a twelve-year career with Och-Ziff Capital Management, where she most recently served as Head of Asia-Pacific IR, Fay Chang has left the firm. She has joined Värde Partners in Hong Kong as Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific Business Development and Investor Relations. Earlier in her career she was at Lehman Brothers.
